Excel Remove Duplicates from List

Example 1:

I have a list of divisions in which RAD Division value is repeated twice and HFD Division value is also repeated twice. Now I want to remove Duplicate Values from the list.

So to remove Duplicate Values from the list follow the steps given below:

1. Select the Entire Data

2. Go to Data Tab

3. Click on Remove Duplicates Icon

4. A Remove Duplicate Panel will open, tick on Division column

5. Click OK

6. Microsoft Panel will pop up saying the duplicate values are removed, click OK

7. Excel will remove all the duplicate values from the list

Example 2:

I have a list of divisions and ratings in which RAD Division is duplicated 3 times and, on the other side, the ratings are duplicated but only on 2 divisions. Now I want to remove the Duplicate Values from both columns

So to remove Duplicate Values from the list follow the steps given below:

1. Select the Entire Data

2. Go to Data Tab

3. Click on Remove Duplicates Icon

4. A Remove Duplicate Panel will open, tick on Division and Rating column

Note – Excel will delete the values when both the combinations are same

5. Click OK

6. Microsoft Panel will pop up saying the duplicate values are removed, click OK

7. Excel will remove all the duplicate values from the list
