Excel Sorting Data from Largest to Smallest

In this tutorial, we will be talking about Sorting Data from Largest to Smallest (Descending Order) with the help of example given below:
Example:
I have a table that consists of two columns Client Names and Amount. Now I want to sort the Amount Column from Largest to Smallest (Descending Order) in Excel.
So to Sort Data from Largest to Smallest in Excel you have to follow the steps given below:
1. Choose the entire data
2. Go to Data > Sort tab
3. A Sort Panel will open; select the following from the panel
1. Sort by – Amount $
2. Sort on – Values
3. Order – A to Z
Note – By chance if you see Column name under the Sort by dropdown then, tick on my data has headers option on the upper right side of the panel.
4. Click on OK
5. Lastly, your data will be sorted from Largest to Smallest
