What is Multiple Pivot Table Multi-Level filter means having more than one field in the field area section either in the row field area, in the value field area, in the report filter area. There is no fault in dragging more than one field in a particular field area. Let take a look with the help of an example:

Steps to add multiple field in the Row Field Area:

Step 1: Insert Pivot Table

Step 2: Drag the field in the field area. Here we drag the following field in the following field area.

              Drag Division and Rating field in the Row field area

              Drag salary field in the Value field area.

Step 3: Multiple Fields will be added in the Row field area.

Steps to add multiple fields in the Value Field Area:

Step 1: Insert a Pivot table

Step 2: Drag Salary field in the Value field area twice.

Step 3: Right Click on any cell in the Sum of Salary 2 Column > Value Field Settings.

Step 4: Value Field Setting dialog box pops up. Enter the Custom name we use percentage here. Go to show value as tab > Drop down menu > % of Grand Total.

Step 5: Click OK. We get the below result.

Multiple Report filter fields | एकाधिक रिपोर्ट फ़िल्टर फ़ील्ड

Steps to add multiple fields in the Report field area:

Step 1: Insert  a Pivot Table

Step 2: Drag the following in the Field areas:

              Division and Rating in the Report Field Area.

              Date of Join in the Row Field Area.

              Salary p.a in the Value Field area.

Step 3: Now filter your Report Field Area. Firstly, we will filter Division field by selecting AD from the drop down menu. Secondly, we will filter Rating field by selecting 1 from the drop down menu. Click OK.
